As Robert mentioned in his last email, I’d like to ask you the prepare the envinronmet for Transfers application. Below a short instruction:

1. MS SQL Server

a). Pls create database ‘TransferyRU’ and next run the attached script in order to create the table structure.
Pls change the ‘Table-transfery-create-script.txt’ file extension from ‘txt’ to ‘sql’ and run the file or copy the content of the file to a new query in MS SQL Server Management Studio.

b). For above database pls create database user ‘TransferyRUUser’ with database role membership ‘db_owner’.
Pls send me the password you will set for this user. I received and set the password: 'avon123'.

 

2. ODBC data sources

a). Pls run ODBC Data Source Administrator (64-bit, I guess your server is 64-bit) and create new System DSN data source ‘TransferyRUODBC’ – according to the data from the step 1 (SQL Server authentication, user ‘TransferyRUUser’, default database ‘TransferyRU’ etc.).

Pls let me know when above steps are ready, I will send you next instructions regarding MISCommunicator service (this service provides communication between teminals and the database).



3. MISCommunicator service
This service should be installed on the same server, where ODBC data source ‘TransferyRUODBC’ was created. To to this pls:

Copy the folder ‘MIS4’ to the root folder of the server e.g. ‘C:/’
a). Run as an Administrator 'MISCommunicatorInterface.exe' file
b). Connections
c). New
d). Description –> TransferyRU, Port –> 8005 (other parameters default)
e). Save
f). Exit
g). Advanced Options
h). Uncheck 'Log to database' and 'Send Date and Time'
i). Click 'Install Service' button
j). Save
k). Start as service
l). Exit



4. Transfery application
a). On the Flash Disk of the mobile device create folder e.g. 'AVONTransfery' and next copy the 'Transfery.exe' installation file to that folder.
b). Next pls doubleclick 'Transfery.exe' - application will install and run automatically.
c). Choose the language (e.g. English), application will restart in selected language, next click 'Start' button.
d). Read and accept EULA.
e). License verification and device registration processes will executed - pls finish the registration process by pressing 'Register' button (in registration process ‘demo’ key is permanent and can’t be changed) - application will operate in demo mode within 7 days.
f). Configure the MIS server connection, pls fill in the IP or DNS name of the server where the MISCommunicator service was installed.
Other parameters in accordance with MISCommunicator service (port: 8005, timeout: 10, tries: 3, timewait: 0).
g). Now, you can login (any 4 characters long string) and register several transfers.

You can always change the confituration if necessary  - to do this, pls fill the 'Login' field with '123456' and click the 'Configuration' button.
If you want to activate the application, pls click 'About' button, next 'Licence' button and fill in the license key input with proper license key you will receive from Robert.
